Invercargill City Council are seeking a motivated and customer focused individual to join our customer services team on a permanent full-time basis!

Our Customer Services Officers are often the first point of contact and the last too. They don't just answer calls; they deal with the query wherever they're able to and have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Council to show for it! The position includes working in our call centre, Help Desk (reception) and cashier duties.

The successful candidate will ooze personality, have a level head, be incredibly well organised with excellent attention to detail and take immense satisfaction in providing our customers with high quality assistance. You will demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude, and a willingness to pitch in and assist the team to get the job done!

Experience in a similar role would be ideal and given we're highly system oriented computer skills are crucial.
