As the Invercargill City Council RMA Monitoring and Plan Effectiveness Officer you will enjoy undertaking investigations out in the field and assessing those findings against the District Plan, Resource Management Act and resource consent conditions.
You will be part of a small and busy team working alongside our consents and policy planners getting involved in projects, big and small.
You will have the ability to engage with the public and property owners being able to utilise your skills to encourage compliance, while ensuring that evidence that is collected on unresolved issues is accurate and robust, resulting in a successful enforcement outcome.
You will also have a solutions-focussed mind-set, being able to identify potential improvements to our practices and policies.
