Programme Delivery Assistant

Our friendly Libraries team are seeking a Full Time Programme Delivery Assistant to work 40 hours per week

This will be worked over a five week roster ,working one weekend in five. The hours of work will be eight hours per day to be worked between 8.30am and 5.00pm, and one late night each week of 8.30am to 6.00pm.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Working closely with the Programmers to plan and organise a diverse range of public programmes, talks, performances and community events
  • Contribute to the development of promotional materials, including flyers, social media posts, and newsletters, to increase program attendance and community engagement.
  • Ensure delivery of programmes are to a high standard, presenting a welcoming and positive attitude. Ensure that health and safety protocols are in place at all times.
  • Capture and report statistical data of work output, attendance, feedback, and include any suggested improvements needed
  • Work on public floor as rostered

What you will bring:

  • NCEA level 3 or equivalent passes in English, Mathematics and Computing
  • Experience in programme delivery, tutoring or caregiving
  • Excellent public relations, service delivery and communication skills including de-escalation techniques
  • Sound understanding of digital and technology trends with excellent digital literacy
  • Demonstrates sound judgement with understanding, respect and sensitivity to cultural diversity and customer types
