Our friendly Aquatic Services team are seeking a Booking and Events Administrator.
The hours of work for this position are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide administrative support to team leaders ensuring records are kept up to date and accurate, supporting the efficient and effective performance of their day-to-day tasks.
- Ensure requisitions are generated as required, including coding of invoices in a timely manner through our financial system TechOne.
- Assist with the effective marketing and promotion of the facility to schools, members of the public and the wider community through the use of social media, websites, newsletters.
- Ensure pool water space is allocated and scheduled for various user groups, allowing maximum space for day-to-day users to be maintained.
- Manage the monthly billing process for space hire customers.
- Brief staff on daily bookings and events to ensure various pool users and groups are informed, supervised and use their allocated spaces efficiently and effectively
What you will bring:
- First Aid Certificate
- NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Two to three years' experience in bookings and events management
- High level of customer relations and communication skills
- Competent is Microsoft office suite, including Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
