Cleaner - Splash Palace

Splash Palace is one of New Zealand's premier aquatic facilities and has a strong team approach to ensure the safety, wellbeing and fun of its visitors. With around 1200 visitors' coming through the door each day Splash Palace is a busy place! We pride ourselves with high standards of cleanliness and you will carry out a variety of tasks to see our facility meets and exceeds this.
Our friendly Aquatic Services team are seeking a part-time cleaner to work 20 hours per week over the following roster:
- Monday 10am-12pm 6pm-10pm
- Tuesday 10am-12pm 6pm-10pm
- Wednesday 10am-12pm 6pm-8pm
- Thursday 10am-12pm
- Friday 10am - 12pm
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Clean public and staff areas, inside and outside the facility to a high standard and ensure surfaces are disinfected and rubbish emptied
- Monitor stock levels and ensure replenishment of all necessary cleaning products and supplies for the facility
- Ensure safe work practices are followed. Proactively promote safe behaviour and injury prevention
- Undertake cleaning of any other areas as required from time to time in an efficient manner in accordance with the general objectives
- Provide a professional, friendly and informative service to customers, ensuring agreed standards of service are delivered
What you will bring:
- First aid certificate or willing to obtain
- Previous cleaning or commercial cleaning experience
- Knowledge of the safe use of cleaning chemicals
- Comprehension, literacy and numeracy skills
- Friendliness, enthusiasm and professionalism
