Our friendly Processing team is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in TechOne "One Council" Accounts Payable Module and lead, with support from the Manager - Processing, key functional and process improvement oversight of the module at ICC.
The hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Oversee Day-to-Day Accounts Payable Operations
- Act as the subject matter expert for the AP module
- Implement and Maintain Best Practice Procure-to-Pay Processes
- Analyse and Reconcile Accounts Payable Transactions
- Support Team Development and Collaboration
What you will bring:
- NCEA or equivalent to level 3 with passes in Mathematics and English
- 5+ years senior Accounts Payable experience in a similar size organisation
- Demonstrable experience in NZ GST and associated rules
- Experience with online banking systems
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
