Love live events, buzzing crowds, and behind-the-scenes magic? This is your chance to be part of the action! We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, flexible, and fun-loving people to join our awesome Venues and Events Services team. Whether you're a Front of House superstar or a Backstage tech wizard, we've got a role for you!
You'll be called in when the lights go up—covering leave or jumping in for exciting daytime and evening events. No two shifts are the same, and you'll be working in some of Invercargill's most iconic venues!
Front of House - Experience Host
Be the friendly face that welcomes guests and keeps the vibe alive!
- Greet patrons with a smile and help them feel at home
- Sell sweets, snacks, and drinks like a pro
- Keep merchandise and programme sales running smoothly
What you will bring:
- Great customer service skills
- A knack for time management
- First Aid Certificate (or we'll train you!)
Back of House - Technical Experience Team
Love gear, gadgets, and getting hands-on? Step into the spotlight behind the scenes!
You will:
- Help run sound, lighting, AV, and fly systems
- Safely assist with pack-ins and pack-outs
- Keep an eye on safety and security during events
- Help maintain our reputation as one of NZ's top theatres
What you will bring:
- Confidence working at heights and with tech systems
- Health & Safety know-how
- First Aid Certificate (or we'll train you!)
