Supervisor - Splash Palace

Splash Palace are seeking two dedicated and experienced Supervisors to oversee daily operations, ensure the highest standards of safety, and provide exceptional service to our community. If you have a background in aquatics, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment, we want to hear from you.
The hours of this position are five days per week and generally worked between 5.20am and 9.30pm, Monday to Sunday both days inclusive, worked according to a three week roster. It includes some weekend work.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Supervise our pool users and ensure Lifeguards are also providing constant supervision of pools, including rotating staff as per the pool's policies.
- Ensure the opening of the facility for the day ahead and the setup of the pool is complete, according to the daily programme sheet.
- Perform reception duties for early-morning users, before reception staff start for the day, and provide assistance to receptionists cashing up at the end of the day.
- Provide effective supervision of Senior Lifeguards and Lifeguards to ensure they feel well supported and guidance is provided to support their development.
- Ensure the delivery of safe and effective aquatic operations, including the daily programme.
What you will bring:
- National Lifeguard Award - Level 3
- First Aid Certificate
- A minimum of three years lifeguarding experience
- Competent and confident swimmer and, on an ongoing basis, able to maintain at the National Lifeguard Award (Level 3)
- Demonstrated experience in supervision of staff
- Ability to solve problems and multi task
While these skills are desirable, we are looking for the right team fit and full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
