People and Culture Training Administrator

We're looking for a proactive Training Administrator to join our People and Culture team on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis, working 20 hours per week to provide essential administrative support to our training and development function.

What you will do:

  • Provide high-quality administrative support, including online training registrations, advertising training opportunities, updating employee records, and managing correspondence.
  • Monitor the Training and Development inbox and respond promptly to enquiries.
  • Process invoices, raise purchase orders, and set up suppliers.
  • Liaise with internal and external training providers to schedule and prepare for training sessions.
  • Coordinate in-house training logistics including invitations, RSVP's, venue and room setup, catering, and materials.
  • Maintain the training matrix with up-to-date information on courses, suppliers, attendance, and feedback.

What you will bring:

  • NCEA Level 3 (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • At least two years' experience in an administrative support position.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Initiative, integrity, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to follow established systems, policies, and procedures accurately.
