We're looking for energetic and enthusiastic Swim Teachers to join our Aquatic Services team and deliver our ILT School Swimming Programme in 2027 and beyond.

In this rewarding role, you'll help children develop vital swimming and water safety skills while building their confidence and enjoyment in the water.

• Permanent part-time positions available
• Monday to Friday shifts between 9.00am and 1.00pm
• Weekly hours vary depending on programme demand

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Monitor and supervise the safety of customers during swim lessons
• Instruct high quality and consistent ‘Water skills for life' lessons to students of all levels of ability, and a range of ages from Year 0 to year 8.
• Ensure ongoing Lifeguard and Swim Teaching training is carried out as per instructions
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, their parents/guardian and with other instructors

What you will bring: not essential as full training will be provided

• Knowledge of Water Safety
• Austswim/Swim Australia - Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
• First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain
• National Lifeguard Award
• Ability to lead a group of school aged children
• High level of customer relations and communication skills
• Ability to pass a swim test - swim 200m in 6 minutes
