This is an excellent opportunity for people interested in lending a hand in the entertainment and hospitality industry, to work with a tight-knit team at the Invercargill Civic Theatre, Rugby Park and Scottish Hall. In this position, you will be available for work on call as required to cover leave or when we require housekeepers for daytime or evening events.
Key responsibilities for this role may include:
- Assist in the timely and efficient delivery of housekeeping duties in the Civic Theatre and on occasion Scottish Hall and Rugby Park as required
- Check and if necessary clear away any catering or other material left in any areas, and restore the areas to a clean and tidy condition
- Assist to ensure that there is an adequate supply of cleaning and hygiene products in store, by regularly checking and reporting any requirements needed
What you will bring:
- Proven experience, and demonstrated ability in quality cleaning processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including sometimes at night after shows
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise and organise workloads
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
