Portfolio Coordinator

Permanent Full-Time

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Portfolio Coordinator to support governance, reporting and delivery coordination across Council's Capital Portfolio Group. This is an opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of capital, infrastructure and digital projects while helping strengthen portfolio governance, reporting discipline and delivery capability across Council.

Working closely with the GM Capital Portfolio, project managers, Finance and Communications Teams, this role sits at the centre of portfolio coordination and provides critical support to governance, reporting and portfolio systems.

The hours of work for this position are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Coordinating portfolio governance processes across multiple projects and programmes
  • Preparing high-quality governance reports, presentations, agendas and meeting minutes
  • Supporting portfolio reporting, financial coordination and data integrity across systems
  • Coordinating project intake, reporting cycles and governance deliverables
  • Maintaining portfolio systems, records and documentation to support effective decision-making
  • Working closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure consistent portfolio processes and reporting standards

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a Programme, Project or Portfolio Coordinator role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • High attention to detail and confidence working with reporting, governance and financial information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organisation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems and tools
  • Knowledge of project, programme or portfolio management practices and governance processes
